Cross Trainer from V-Fit: AC2 Apollo II Air Cycle
The Apollo II Air Cycle from V-Fit is a cross-trainer that gives you all the cardiovascular advantages of a bike but without the attendant hazards of cycling in “live” traffic or the expense of buying accessories like a helmet, bike pump or reflective clothing. With a cycling cross-trainer like the Apollo II Air Cycle, you can work out in the comfort of your own home, rain or shine, night or day.
V-Fit have designed this cross-trainer to give an excellent workout for the lower body and the upper body. The handlebars on the Apollo II Air Cycle tone the pectorals, biceps and triceps with their to-and-fro motion, while the cycling pedals work the glutes, thighs and calves. You can use this cross-trainer in upper-body mode, lower-body mode or whole body mode, depending on what you need to work most. Or all three modes in one session for variety! The Apollo II Air Cycle uses air resistance and a friction belt to provide varying levels of adjustable resistance.
You can also keep track of your performance and increasing fitness levels with the six-function monitor that V-Fit have provided with the Apollo II Air Cycle, whether you want to set goals related to distance, speed, calories burned, heart rate (from the earlobe pulse) or time spent exercising – or a combination of these factors, plus a “scan” monitor. This cross-trainer is comfortable to use, as the saddle height is adjustable and large enough to give comfortable support.
The Apollo II Air Cycle is built of sturdy but lightweight steel and is finished in attractive grey epoxy. V-Fit have included full instructions for use and assembly along with the cross-trainer.
